University of the Pacific transformed several 3rd Avenue buildings in Oak Park into the 30,000 sq ft Pacific Health Care Collaborative — a merged dental and medical education facility with a 30-operatory teaching clinic for interdisciplinary training. Construction began in 2023, opening to the public in spring 2024 with student training starting that July.
